Christmas cards anyone?

It's that time of year AGAIN (I seriously cannot believe this). I've been scouring the internet to find the perfect cards for this year and came across Shutterfly.com. They have tons of photo gifts, cards, prints, basically anything you would want to put a photo on. And their Christmas card selection is SUPURB! Plus they've got tons of great deals going on, right now they have a 20% off sale on cards! Can't beat that!! I can't wait to sit down and try to figure out which photos we're going to use. Nothing beats weeding out your favorite images from the past year and getting to share them with friends and family! Christmas cards are definitely one of my favorite parts of the season- well other than addressing them all :)

Head on over to Shutterfly.com to check out the awesome selection of products this year! They have Holiday Cards, Photo Christmas Cards, Calendars, and even New Years Cards (click on each of the products to follow the link to Shutterfly's awesome selection)!

And if you are a blogger you can receive 50 free holiday cards from Shutterfly. Learn more here. Get bloggin folks!

A Photo of me??

I have very few photos of myself. It's kinda just the way it goes when you're the designated photographer in the family. But we had the Marine Corp Birthday Ball this past week and a friend of mine took a photo of Jacob and I. So nice to have a recent photo of us!

Conveniently my dress matches my blog background! Pretty cool :)

Slacking...

Although I've taken quite a few photos lately I haven't posted hardly anything! Only a few on facebook even... So I thought I'd post what I've done for my photography class so far!

We had to pick a genre, which I picked TREES! Who doesn't love a good tree??

And now this week's assignment is to do a self portrait within your genre without putting yourself in the image... This is going to be tricky...
